SHOPPING!

Hey guys!
Once again, I'm sorry for not posting enough, so I thought I'd show you what I've been spending my student loan on..
Since September I've been working at New Look, a store in our big mall St David's 2.
It's quiet, but hey! I get 50% off so I'm quite happy.

Here's a few bits and bobs I've bought from my works lately.

New look

I'm not a big fan of creepers, but they're so comfortable, and they also make me feel really tall! and I love looking a wee bit taller than I actually am! (I'm 5ft 7 and a half! half an inch too small to model for select model management! :( woah is me!)
I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything black this season, because all they have in shops right now is black, dark green, skulls and crosses, and I'm more of a flowers and lace person myself.. but I didn't keep to this, I've bought two pairs of black wetlook jeans, black and blue floral trousers, black dress, black leggings, two black cardigans, black creepers and silver and black peplum tshirt. They look nice, but I need more colour in my wardrobe!
I also bought this coat from New look, but it wasn't on the POLYVORE page.

Brown Pattern (Brown) Leopard Print Faux Fur Jacket | 256981929 | New Look
It's so comfortable! and suprisingly matches a lot of my clothing, (apart from my black and blue floral trousers :( )
I just had to buy it with my discount, for £25 I will never take it back!!

I also did a little bit of shopping on the Student Lock - In event in the same mall.
Student lock in is an event where the majority of shops in St David's 2 have sales (10-40% off, pubs and clubs give out vouchers and monster energy drinks too!)
Here's what I bought at these.

My personal favourites from this set are the high waisted shorts from Miss Selfridge, bought with 20% off, and the Lion Body suit, from Primark for £6! went very well with the black wedges, half price from New Look for a night out in town with the ladies enjoying my freshers!

Hope you like my local buys!
St David's fashion weekender photos up soon!

First go at black and white

Hey guys,
So my mother was super duper nice and bought me a new grey backdrop as an early birthday present to help me with my mini brief set by the university.
We had to create a simple 'untouched' black and white portrait shoot, no make up, one source of light, minimal styling and no props.
Here's what I got, one of the images has some eyeliner on.. but all the others are completely natural.

Model - Lucy Williams
Photographer - Stephanie Railey - Stephanie Rose Photography

This is my final image for my mini project :) I love the side profile shot!

:D Tomorrows post will be on all the lovely clothes I've bought with my student loan ahah!

First University Brief

hey guys, I've been so busy lately I've hardly posted anything!
I've received my first brief from my university course and it's almost finished!
Our module title is 'Street Style', basically, I have to go around my area and ask cool looking people to stop and let me take a photo of what they are wearing. It's pretty fun, and feels good when you find a mega cool person, but totally embarrassing when they say no :( </3

After pestering these poor people, we then had to create a 'straight up, street style' image ourself, so pick the model, and pick the clothing. Here's a few from each part!
Hope you like them!

Threadsence

Threadsence's Runway lookbook show's that no matter what your style is, you can always look good. With their vintage feel, and bohemian edge Threadscene are able to take your breathe away, but not your bank balance with their reasonable prices. Each item of clothing can be worked, and re worked with a number of different ideas and still look great!

3 looks, 1 jeans

Three outfits created from 1 pair of jeans. Defiantly one of my new favourite shops.
