London Fashion Weekend

Hey guys!
Well, I've been off my feet as always, but was lucky enough to go to London for the day with my good friend Zoey Groves... We got tickets for the London Fashion Weekend and got to see some great designers work!
We also got to watch a fashion show based on 4 new hot trends for S/S 13!
You can't beat a bit of monochrome! Here's some images from the day....

Beautiful Neon Clutches! from a various of designers including Michael Kors (pictured below) and Marc Jacobs.

Beautiful nail gloves! I will be creating a DIY of this soon, to keep an eye out.

Stunning collection of leather jackets (I am a big sucker for all things pink, these hit my spot nicely)

Zoey Groves - wearing WE ARE HAIRY PEOPLES custom hand painted denim jacket.

The event wasn't what I was expecting if I am honest, I loved all of the shops, but with ticket prices being at £20 each, the stores had only designer clothing, at unaffordable prices for us students :( but it was nice to have a look at all of the lovely items!

My favourite new designer discovery is the up and coming British fashion designer, Charlotte Taylor. I am a sucker for animals and big prints, and when I found her shirt range from last season I fell in love!

Beautiful bird print! My personal favourite was the penguin print silk shirts! but I couldn't find a picture online :(
You can find out more about Charlotte and her work at her blog here;

Thanks for reading everyone,
lots of love!

Threadsence

Threadsence's Runway lookbook show's that no matter what your style is, you can always look good. With their vintage feel, and bohemian edge Threadscene are able to take your breathe away, but not your bank balance with their reasonable prices. Each item of clothing can be worked, and re worked with a number of different ideas and still look great!

3 looks, 1 jeans

Three outfits created from 1 pair of jeans. Defiantly one of my new favourite shops.

Square Clothing, Second Drop.

Hey guys, I worked with Square clothing a while ago on their first look book for their latest collection.

Well, Perry (The creator) contacted me again and asked me if I would help with the new stuff.
As you've seen in previous posts, I've been hanging out with Jay (friend and fellow aspiring photographer) and he really likes the Square label. So I invited him along to work on the collection with me. At first, I said we would  'colab' so take images, and put our two styles together into the images.
Didn't stay like that, I was a good friend ;) And slightly sleepy, so let Jay take the lead :)

His images came out great! with a ghostly finish to them, you can find them by searching 'Jay Maybry' on Facebook.

But here are mine!
Hope you like them!

Making Cakes.

We'll, on Sunday, my boyfriend decided he was going to stay out AAAAALLLLLL day and leave me at home alone.. s to cure my boredom, I made some yummy cakes!

I used the 100g of everything recipe.
100g butter
100g sugar
100g self raising flour
+ 2 eggs.
(I also added lemon juice.)

Mix them all together and wahlah! nice cake mixture!

put to cook for 20 minutes on gas mark 5, (180oC?)
and then your done!

I also made butter icing... Just chucked butter and icing sugar into a bowl and continued to play around with amounts until it was good to go!

Hope you like them :)

Boring day.

Didn't really do much today.. my last day off from college and it's been too boring.
I went into town with my friend purely to do some window shopping.. only bought a little bracelet from Dorothy Perkins. It's too cute!

and for £2 I couldn't not buy it!
(I bought a lemon coloured strap instead)

I walked past the local Two Seasons store and saw the Tom Veiga range I previous blogged about.. to my disappointment, the bikini tops were soo small, If I were to buy a size 8 bottom, I would have a cup size to match that wouldn't even hold half of my chest :( and you can't mix and match either. Oh well! Lucky for all you girls who are in average proportions!

My trip to Llantwit Major for some surf got cancelled as the ocean was soo flat. WAH! :(

I guess the internet will have to entertain me now!
